About:
The Princess and the Puppet is a work of original fiction. It takes place in an alternate earth, where magic exists and certain people possessing magic long ago gained the ability to bond with elements, giving their chosen element entrance into their body and their magic, and rewarding them with extra power and eternal life-- becoming, in other words, a Mage. Two hundred years ago, the daughter of the leader of one tribe of Mages, (those who had sworn themselves to Water), demanded a gift: a playmate who would never leave her or betray her.
She got her wish, though it took two centuries, in the form of a sixteen year old girl who went to bed with a nasty headache and woke up blue from head to toe, obssessed with finding a girl named "Melisande".
